Shenja van der Graaf holds degrees in business and media studies. She has spent time at Utrecht University, Leiden University, Comparative Media Studies at MIT, Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School, Oxford Internet Institute and the London School of Economics. She has been awarded with grants and scholarships from among others, Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Sciences, New York Law School, Research Center for Information Law, and British Academy.
